What to look for when buying a good keyboard

Let's face the facts, a good pro keyboard is gonna cost at least $800 to $1,000 and up. So you want to make sure you are getting exactly what you need before you buy.
First off to some people the actual keys are important. Some people want an 88 key keyboard some want less. Some may want weighted keys like a piano some want less. This is all up to you. You will definitely get more range with more keys.
As far as sounds you will want to go with studio quality 24-bit/96kHz sounds. This will be the most realistic you can get.
Try and make sure you keyboard has upgradable Ram and Rom. Rom allows you to add sound cards giving you more sounds. The amount of Ram allows you to have more sampling time if you have an on-board sampler of course.
A workstation keyboard can do wonders with creating a full song with drums and everything.
Make sure the keyboard has a pitch and mod wheel to give you more diversity.
Lastly make sure your keyboard will take memory cards so you can save your work and your settings.

Artist and bands make sure you submit your music to these radio networks.
